What is Feedstock?

Feedstocks are defined as any renewable biological material that can be converted into another form of energy product.  They are a renewable energy resource.

We collect and utilize food waste and and turn it into renewable energy. No food is ever grown for this purpose.

With the use of our anaerobic digestion technology, Bioenergy Devco is constructing facilities that can also process/codigest other more challenging organics, including:

  • Packaged food and post-consumer organics
  • Fats, oils and grease (“FOG”)
  • Sludge from industrial food facilities like dairy and poultry processors
  • Litter (chickens, cows, pigs, and any other similar litter)

With a steady feedstock supply and strong community collaboration, we prove that what’s good for business is also good for the environment.
