What is Feedstock?

Feedstocks are defined as any renewable biological material that can be converted into another form of energy product.

We collect and utilize food waste and several other different types of feedstocks. No food is grown for this purpose.

With the use of our anaerobic digestion technology, Bioenergy Devco is constructing facilities that can also process/codigest other more challenging organics, including:

  • Packaged food and post-consumer organics
  • Fats, oils and grease (“FOG”)
  • Sludge from industrial food facilities like dairy and poultry processors
  • Litter (chickens, cows, pigs, humans, and any other litter)

With consistent feedstocks and working within the community we prove that what’s good for business should also be good for the environment.
