What We Accept
The Maryland Food Recovery Center accepts and recycles palletized food waste, from raw ingredients to packaged consumer products. We handle bulk bags, gaylord bins, large-format bags, boxes, beverages, buckets, barrels, and IBC totes. If it’s food on a pallet, we likely accept it.
We do not accept loose waste from collection trucks tipped on the ground. These materials can be delivered to our parent facility, the Maryland Bioenergy Center in Jessup.
*All loads must be scheduled in advance.
